The cost of every LPG conversion includes a check up 1000 miles after conversion. In order to validate the warranty, this must be done at the conversion centre which performed the installation.
After this check up, which may involve fine tuning the settings after prolonged running on LPG, it is recommended that the system is serviced every 12,000 miles or annually, whichever is sooner. Servicing involves checking over the installation and software settings as well as replacing filters. The service usually takes about 1 hour and costs vary from installer to installer.
It is not necessary to return to the original workshop for servicing. To find your nearest BRC servicing centre, click here.
Before taking your converted vehicle to a workshop for some LPG rectification work, please make sure you understand the warranty provided with your conversion.
Please be aware that normal petrol servicing schedules should be continued. Most of our installers also do petrol servicing, so please contact your local workshop to see whether they can provide a combined service.
