Certified BRC Installations

BRC has an extensive network of approved workshops across England, Wales and Scotland.

All workshops within the BRC network are owner-managed and are LPG Association (UKLPG) approved. Technicians at each workshop have received full training from the BRC equipment manufacturers to ensure optimum levels of customer service throughout the network.

The UKLPG approved Installer Scheme is in place to provide a quality standard that consumers can trust. UKLPG approval is a mark of safety and quality which assures customers of adherence to the UKLPG Code of Practice 11 and The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986. Becoming LPGA approved is a rigorous process, involving a written examination to test knowledge of COP11 and RVR 1986, practical training in the BRC system and a full site inspection to be passed before approval is gained. Random quality checks are carried out to ensure conversions are completed within these regulations. To read fully about the UKLPG Approved Installer scheme, please click here.

UKLPG have recently devised a vehicle register logging information on all vehicles converted by approved workshops. Only approved fitters can access the database to add and amend information, ensuring every vehicle is converted under the stringent UKLPG guidelines and safety checks.

Prior to this scheme all conversions were issued with a UKLPG certificate of conformity. The database can be found on the DriveLPG website, and is accessible to insurance companies as well as the DVLA.

Upon declaring the work to your insurance  company they will request that you provide suitable evidence that it was completed by an approved installation centre. This process has been greatly simplified by the advent of the UKLPG register. The majority of insurers will not raise your premium if the vehicle is displayed on the register.

Two year warranties are supplied with every conversion. This covers BRC parts nationwide, and labour valid from the installers who fitted the conversion. Upon collection of the vehicle every driver will be presented with a welcome pack containing a Drivers Handbook, which provides operating instructions for the system. It also contains Warranty certificates which are filled out by the installers, and a copy is then sent to our BRC (GB) head office to enable us to process any warranty claims.

All of our workshops are available to you as a BRC customer for servicing and repairs.
